Solutions for sliding slingback straps?

Solutions for sliding slingback straps?

I have a pair of shoes that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE but the straps keep falling down. Any suggestions?

Are they adjustable? I take mine to the shoemaker and have him add a few extra holes to make it tighter...and if they're NOT adjustable, they can sew them back (or cut) to make it a tighter strap.

That was my next idea of cutting them and making the strap shorter but I am afraid they will mess up my shoes.

If it's done by a professional - you'll never know the difference. It's a slight change.

To 'bomb' -

Here are a few suggestions:

Very sturdy, but with limited applications..

Very useful especially on days with wind gusts of more than 30 mph..

Most effective when there are two straps within close proximity to one another..

This one is good for almost every occasion. If the strap does not fall within 4 hours, please contact a specialist..

Also, do not use if you have recently suffered a stroke or heart attack.

Two by my job, right in Grand Central. One is located on Vanderbuilt and the other is literally in Grand Central next to the Blimpies...I take all my shoe repair needs there.

Oh totally do-able...they'll lift the leather and tuck the straps in again.
