SOME Bill Levkoff BM dresses run big

I'm a BM 2 weeks before my wedding. I knew my dress would be big since I've been losing wieght for my wedding, but... They are ALL very big.

My poor friend who is getting married ALL of her BM are having to have them altered in and pay another $ 50.00...

Just a warning so you can try to get your BM's down to a store to try dress sizes on before ordering!!!

Edited to all DON'T PANIC!!!
But really try to get them to try a similar style on for sizing prior to ordering if you can...

ACK!!! This is NOT good news...my girls dresses are Bill Levkoff!!! Oh no...I've got to get them to start going for fittings now...I knew something was going to go wrong...

I'm surprised to hear that. My girls wore Bill Levkoff and nobody had any problems.

That's wierd - my BM dresses are Bill Levkoff and some were too small or just fit! I guess it depends on who did the mesuring! for the brides who ordered Bill Levkoff's don't panic!

Most girls will have to get their dresses altered somehow. Nobody has the 'model' shape and size that these designers use. As long as there is a cap in alterations charge and the girls know about it, there shouldn't be a problem. I rather my girls get bigger dresses than smaller. You can always take in but its very difficult to take out.

I did not me to Panic you, but to try to get you to 'encourage the girls' to go to the Bridal Store rather than calling in the measurements.

Sorry if this caused panic, but thought I should pass her story along since she is not on this site.

1 BM called her measurements in and they order an 18 instead of a 8 But the good news is no alterations were more than $ 60.00....
