Some e-party tips

I had my e-party last weekend and thought I might be able to provide some 'Lessons Learned' from my experience. -Make a must-have photo list. I didn't and there are many photos that were not taken because everyone just got busy with other things. Now I know why it is so important to do the list for the wedding. I also just did one for my shower and gave it to my Mom. That way she can make sure that photos of the favors and centerpieces are taken for me. Don't worry about getting sheet cake, instead get a bunch of different desserts- That is what we did. It worked out great. We had a super choclate cake, cookie trays, lemon mouse cake, pastry tray. Instead of the regular vanialla cake/choclate mouse sheet cake. People enjoyed the variety. Bring extra camera batteries- My stepmom's camera battery went in the middle of the party. For the wedding make sure that your loved one have a spare with them. (that goes for the shower too) Video camera- If you do not know one, we don't, ask someone to borrow theirs the night before the party. My sister was supposed to bring hers but a friend never returned it that day. So no camera. Next time I will have the camera in my home the day before just to make sure. Hair trial- Use your e-party to see if you like how your hairdresser does a formal hair style. It does not have to be how you want to wear your hair for the wedding, but you can get an idea. I hope this helps a few of you out there.
