Some help from my 07 girls...does anyone know of some well priced places for a Bridal Shower???

Ok my mom asked me what kind of place I'd like to have my BS and well it kinda $ucks because I'd love for her and my BM's to not have to spend money on a place and just have it in a backyard or something but considering my wedding is in May I don't think that will be possible assuming my BS would be 'sometime' in the winter.

With that in mind, does anyone know of a nice little restaurant or somewhere different that would be very well priced to hold a BS? Not a knights of columbus or vets hall just cause we had out e-party at one and I'd like a different atmosphere. It would need to hold about 60-80 people. Thank you guys so much!

Jonathans on Jericho Turnpike is reasonably priced for that size BS (I THINK....) We had my SIL and my sisters bridal showers there and they were HUGE... But I dont remember being stressed out about the prices. (My mom took care of most of the details)

Check out Popei's clam bar in Deer Park...theres a bunch of different packages available and the food is awesome!

There are two rooms available...one holds up to 65, anything over that would be the whole restaurant! Theres also a little stage that they can set up for opening gifts and what not!

Heres whats included:

4 hour party
Coffee, Tea, Soda
Salad
Choice of 3 appetizers
Choice of 4 entrees
Free cake cutting
Buffett style, Sit down, or Family Style

If you want more info....FM me and I'll tell you who to call!

They do parties all the time and are def. one of the cheapest places around with great food!

Good Luck!

what about Seventh Street Cafe? in garden city.

We had our engagement party there... it was about 80 people... it was 'semi-private' and VERY reasonably priced. ours was a lunch, and they had three different priced options for menus that we could choose from -- and the people there were SO sweet, and even though our party went over the allotted time, they NEVER made us feel rushed at all!

FM me for exact pricing/details! hth

My FH and I own a restaurant and we do bridal showers. It's in Queens on the water and really cute. We have a glass atrium so in the winter it will be nice to look out and see the water...
Our prices for private parties are on the website..

Bayview

FM if you have any questions!

I don't know exactly how much you are looking to spend but my mom just had my surprise bridal shower about 2 weeks ago and she said the price wasn't bad. I believe it was about $30 per person. The place was called The Wantagh Inn. Their food was very good and the place is very nice. It is right by Mulcahy's.

There's the Beachtree Cafe in East Islip, Papa Joe's in Deer Park (I think it's DP - it's right on Commack Rd) and the Silver Pheasant in Lindenhurst. I'd recommend checking them all out. From what I remember, they all have fair prices. The SP is something like $15 pp from what I recall...Good luck!

We had my friend's at Captain Bills and it was really nice. It was a little expensive though...I think it was like $42/head if I can recall correctly. Also try the Irish coffee pub...they have nice rooms and the food is great.

I dont know if Oceanside is in the area you want, BUT
there is this place called Union Park Cafe on long beach road.
It is a bar/resturant but they have a seperate room outside that has a heated enclosed area which would still be nice in the colder weather.

if you can guarentee 30ppl (which you can) the price is $17.95 a person and that includes open bar. and you can get a fixed menu for buffet or sit down (I think)

(his prices may vary, it could range from $17.95 - $35.00per person)

THe food is good and the place is cute. We have had my sisters baby shower there, my moms surprise bday there, as of now i may have my rehearsal dinner there and im not 100% sure bc it would be the most obvious, but my shower may even be there??

It might be worth checking out
