some inexpensive v-day ideas for FH
I just got back from the store with some v-day gifts for FH!
1. I got him maybe ~ 2 dozen lime green spider mums and arranged them in a crystal vase we got as an engagement gift. I was debating whether or not to get HIM flowers and I decided something non-girly would be fun (they were much cheaper than roses and 'grass green' is his fav color)![]()
2. I bought him an adorable card with a photo on the front that looks like our 2 kittens snuggling, and the inside relates to an inside joke of ours.
3. I made choc covered strawberries from scratch! I bought a big package of strawberries (on sale for $3) and this interesting package of dipping chocolate that you microwave in the cup it comes with ($2) and it was enough to make 2.5 dozen strawberries! Considering godiva dipped strawberries are $4/piece, I consider it a bargain!![]()

(I didn't want to get the usual candy/chocolates since we still have a bag of truffles in the fridge and I just bought him a cookie cake 2 weeks ago for his bday)
