some nerve of people

My friend, asked me to buy her a book 2 months ago. I did and for 2 months it sat at my desk. We worked 1 block from each other. It was my last day and she agreed to meet me outside her building.

So friday she agreed to meet me at 4:00. I waited for her outside her building for about 10 minutes, then went inside waited on line for 15 minutes with security and she still did not show. I left her a message on her machine that said she had 5 minutes to come downstairs, I've been waiting since 4 and if she is not down in 5 minutes i am leaving and the book is going back. I then waited another 10 minutes.

So her meet me in five minutes turned into almost 40 and I left.

This is the email she sent me

'You have some nerve leaving me that message in that tone of voice. Girl I left at 4:30pm went to the bathroom and when I got downstairs you were freaking
gone.

Now listen up missy, tomorrow I will send a pkg to your house with your books and a $10 bill and don't you ever leave me a message like that again. got it'

She still has 3 books of mine that I lent her from 2 years ago that she's been promising me that she would send me. So supposedly she is sending me my books. I am waiting.

Do you believe the email she sent me. Meet me in 5 minutes turned into me waiting for almost 40 minutes and I have some nerve

FI keeps asking me why am I even friends with her.

I think she finally pushed our friendship and I cant have someone like that in my life

She is the type of person who sends everyone to do things for her and then you have to bring things to her. She NEVER goes out of her way for anyone.

She really pushed it this time and I just dont have time for people like her.

SHe better be sending my books back.

Can you say self absorbed and rude? Delete her from your life! You are really encountering all kinds this week Chippa! So sorry for u !!

OMG that is horrible! I hate when people are so inconsiderate. I have friends who rarely can get anywhere on time. FH and I have missed movies, and dinner ressies b/c we had to wait for them. G-d forbid we dare mention that they were late or that we missed something as a result of their lateness!

I can't believe that she had the nerve to say that you did something wrong when she didn't leave to meet you until 4:30. By then you had already been waiting for a half hour and she expected you to wait longer and to be happy about it

Apparently she believes the world revolves around her.

Ditto everyone else...kick her in the shins!

I love people who can't see beyond their own shadow.
