Some of my pix are up! 3/16- But I have one question left...
Hi all! I`ve been away a while (getting everything in order) but I`ve finally learned how to connect my (our) scanner! It was a beautiful day! Some of my wedding pix are at www.nylyddane.homestead.com/wedding.html (The best pix are the wedding & bonus ones) Now I have one question left... I dried my bouquet, but what do I do with it now? Does anyone know any of those crafty-types that make things out of them? Oh- and if anyone wants info on my vendors (Westbury Manor, Lawrence Photo, Video Express, Superior Florist, Parameters, David`s Bridal, Royalty Limo, Dante Tuxes & a wonderful little seamstress...) let me know! Good luck to you all! Mary Anne

You look outrageous Mary Anne!!!!
Your wedding was so elegant and beautiful! You both did a great job of coordinating colors and style (I flipped over the red)! You were such a luminous bride.....you almost looked like a ballerina!! The style of dress you wore was gorgeous and suited you perfectly! Congratulations and good luck to both of you! Also, can you tell me who did your hair? I love it! I have to decide on a stylist ASAP!

Thanks so much, guys - and thanks so much for all the great advice I`ve gotten off this site during the past 6 months of planning! I got my hair & makeup done at JAG salon in Glen Head. My sister goes to Darren there, so she set me up. He is INCREDIBLE (I never thought I could look like that), but I don`t think he travels (they are near me). Give me a day on the seamstress (my sister has her number), but she lives in East Williston and only does bridal parties- She comes to your house & does everyone at once. Her prices are reasonable and her turnaround was really fast, too. **She took in my dress a lot, I could breathe & eat & everything & I never worried about it falling. Royalty was AWESOME! We had John, who was so great that when an usher didn`t come back, he actually walked one of my aunts down the aisle! He truly went above and beyond in all areas(and I think he got our biggest tip). Oh- and the limo was beautiful, too. Westbury Manor was so accomodating- They let us come before the mass to take pix and even got us drinks & food while we were there. I never saw the other bride and our attendant Grace was a whiz with balancing our entire family during pix. I had the duck with Grand Manier sauce and it was the best thing ever! Everyone raved about the food - especially my vegan friend who stuffed herself! Eddie (Parameters) was really great dealing with our hectic sched. Not having a car or being on LI, we worked our music out the night before over a cell phone! We gave him a CD or two (the day of) for the cocktail hour (Irish music), which he played and we made our 'dances' CD too, to make it easier. Honestly, I can`t even tell you what he played most of the night- all I know is that everyone was dancing (I`m from a family that doesn`t dance)- All in all, we really lucked out - 6 mo. of planning, no real snags & only a little overbudget. One thing I would change if I did it again- I would probably have a day wedding. I was so tired by the end of the night that I fell asleep pulling pins from my hair. If anybody wants anything more specific- I can e-mail better details to you. Now does anyone know what to do with my dried roses??
