Some People Are So Incredibly Touching...just had to share

As many of you know, my mom passed away five years ago. My dad's girlfriend - R - has been incredibly helpful and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. I never expected to want her involved, but now that she is, I'm so happy.

Now....Saturday was my second dress fitting. R couldn't be there because she was visiting her daugher at camp. When they brought out my dress, there was a card attached it it. It was from R. It made me cry it was so touching. Here's what it said:

On such an important day, I could never forget one very important person - your mother. A piece of her dress is sewn within yours so she can be with you always.

Hang on tight to your memories and she'll always be there. Just know that I am always here for you, too. I'm sorry I can't be with you today.

I love you.

Amazing how people I expected nothing from have given so much respect and compassion.

I just had to share that...

Oh my god. I just got chills. She is a beautiful and loving woman. Both your father and you are very lucky to have her in your lives.

OMG, I'm with the other ladies - I have tears in my eyes - what an AMAZING woman, and so thoughtful of her - ESPECIALLY with the issues you've had with your future in-laws (I hope I am not confusing brides here!)
