this makes me so mad, i was on the phone w/ a friend, and she sez something about gay/ lesbian couples, i reply oh i have no problem with that it is what it is you love who you love, and i went on to tell her that a girl i work w/ is gay and that her and her other half adopted 3 beautiful children who all have health problems and what wonderful parents they are, she replies oh, i cant believe the court allowed it, scream, i was so mad i was like change the subject, how is people so retarded, no wonder she single.... had to vent she made me so

That infuriates me so much!!!! Who cares who you love - as long as you love them! I think it's WONDERFUL that gay people can marry now! I'm all for it!!!!!

I have often wondered why our govt is so ridiculously on top of this issue. WHY DOES IT MATTER TO THE GOVT???? Aren't there enough REALLY IMPORTANT things for them to worry about ... like WAR, POVERTY, CRIME, HEALTH CARE, TAXES, PRICES OF HOMES, etc etc????? Since when does who you love have anything to do with state or federal goverment????
Obviously, this is a touchy subject for me. I just think it's such a silly thing for ANYONE to bother themselves with, no less make laws about. If I were a lesbian I would be over the top pissed. Who the hell does the govt think they are, telling people that they cannot marry someone?????

they are incredible parents and the health problems are not minor either two of the beautiful lil tots have peg tubes, and they even pay a nurse to come in and help out a little. i love them they are dear friends and wonderful incredible people.

my mom is gay. Her and my dad split up when i was 3 yrs old and her 'best GF' was there to console her and took her out places and took care of me and my sis and they ended up falling in love. I've got my own views on homosexuality. I personally feel some people are really born that way and others go to it because its almost trendy at this point...the latter, over the top, flamboyant in your face type...I'm not too crazy about. But I've been around gay people my whole life. and my mom and mom #2 raised me so well...alot better than some other parents who are str8 soooo...it has no effect on their parenting...if anything it gives them the capacity to love more unconditionally

ugh. it would be nice if people could see past sexual orientation and just see two kind ,loving parents who gave a wonderful home to children who needed just that.
