I posted on my FB last night that FH and I are trying to decide what music to have during cocktail hour.
FMIL is not on FB, but her best friend is and she's noooooossseeeeeeyyy. So she saw my status and called FMIL today to be like 'oooh, did you know Jamie and Steven are planning on having some kind of band at the CH?' and FMIL was like, yeaaaaaaah, I'm the one that told them to! So she went to my FMIL like we're trying to do something behind her back, like with a tattle tale tone!
Meanwhile, I ask FMIL's opinion on EVERYTHING, we have a really good relationship. If you thought I was trying to keep it from her (which I'm obvisouly not or YOU wouldn't know about it) why would you run to her and try to cause problems? She knows we have a good relartionship, I don't know what her problem is. So sad though, that people have nothing better to do.

gosh that really IS annoying!!! I find myself censoring myself on FB all the time..there are too many ppl on my FB friend list who shouldn't have access to my entire life 24/7..It really su***cks!

I hate how facebook has spiraled out of control. Remember the good ol days when it was accessible only to college students???
My friend's sister saw on my facebook I got engaged and blabbed to her mom.
Her mom shows up at my mom's SALON and starts trying to get the gossip and saying real snarky stuff like
'they're LIVING together too??' 'He's not KOREAN?'
I am still pissed about it.

I know how you feel. FB is driving me crazy. It seems like everyone on there (cousins, neighbors) runs to tell their mothers what is going on in my life. The mothers then call my own mom, acting like they know more than she does. Once in a while I'll get a lecture, 'So-and-so called. She said Mary read on facebook that you're going to Vegas for your bachelorette party. When did you decide this???'

it is sad because some people thrive on drama and have nothing better to do!! you know the kind of relationship you and ur FMIL have so dont let that lady stress you out!!...i feel like with all this wedding planning people are always going to try and cause some problems!! damn people lol
