FH's cousin just called and said that he will not be bringing his GF. The wedding is a week and a half away!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! He couldn't tell us this sooner? Here is another one. FMIL's sister was late replying. She finally replied (Over the phone because we had to call)as bringing someone. Then 2 weeks later she calls and says she will be coming alone. Well, today FMIL gets a call saying the date is now coming!!!! This is why its a pain in the @ss doing the tables...
What is it with these people?? My poor mother is ready to strangle someone.

Sorry for all of your inconveniences. Don't let it ruin your day though!! You are right though... some people just really don't get it... It never ceases to amaze me when people just lack general etiquette or common sense.

Ahh, another thing I will have to look foward too.. I'm sorry your going through this, but don't let it ruin your day.. as they say weddings seem to bring out either the best or the worse in people..

lol at least you have a weeks notice... my moms friend told her the DAY BEFORE the wedding that she was bringing someone... my mom didn't tell me cause she didn't want me to get upset..... so going through the receiving line, my moms friend introduces me to her date. i knew she hadn't replied as bringing a date..... then, when we got to the reception, my mom had to tell the caterer to set another place at this ladies table so her uninvited date could sit there! some people REALLY don't get it AT ALL!!
