Some People Just Highly Annoy Me!

So at work today is our gift exchange and secret santa. The deal was to purchase a gift for the secret santa AND to give $50 towards the department so we can all get a gift that was something we all really wanted. Well, I went ahead and got a small little something for both my old manager and my new one since they both did so much for me throughout all of this year.

Well, this one lady I work with flipped on me last week about it. So she thought it was be good to be rude and disrespectful to ME! I got my old manager CK Euphoria...her fave sent. So this lady went and got Wii AND a remote AND the nunchuck... AND a 22' flat screen... saying that it was only certain people then pointed to who they were.
I never knew that there was this other pot going around, otherwise I would have contributed... And, she gave me the look of death when my old manager gave me a kiss...b/c she didn't yet know who it was from. Are you kiddin me?!?! We are all in this togher, but she is being spitfull b/c I got her the perfume First..???!?!?!?!? Sorry...

Community gift-giving is always touchy. I handle all the group gifts in my department.

Normally I tell people we are collecting between 5 and 10 per person. There are 2 things that bother me:

1 - people who give $30. I'm sorry, if you want to contribute $30, then give a gift yourself. I don't feel right about accepting $30 and just throwing it into the pot when others have given so much less.

2- people who don't contribute and try to sneak their name on the card. I keep careful logs of who contributed, and if you didn't contribute your name doesn't go on the card, and you are not invited to the conference room when we give a gift and have cake. The people who try to sneak in drive me nuts.

Dani777 - I don't think you are the latter, but perhaps this lady at your job thought you were. Perhaps you should talk to her and be like 'What is going on here - did I miss something or was there a miscommunication?' Seems like she thinks you did something wrong. Granted, she should just get into the holiday spirit, but if only certain people gave money towards the Wii and TV, then only those people should use it.

I totally hear what you are saying. She never asked me about it...said that I didn't have money to throw in the pot. I was like, ...how do you know...soo annoying!

Goshhh .. What is it with your STANKY co-worker.. She is just chopping your A@$... This is not acceptable.. Just kill her with kindness...

My friend co-worker thinks she's jealous... b/c I started this job as the receptionisht...then moved to customer service, then went to international accounts, now I'm IT. That's like 3 promotions in less the 2 and a half years... HAHA
I don't have other problems with ANY one else in the office... Oh well to her then! haha

Hahaha...so now she was just rubbing it in again that she spoiled her more then me! HAHAHAh. Whatever!!!
