Some people make me wonder...

there is a bride I know... wont mention any names though

Who is going crazy/driving everyone else crazy with getting/making RD invitations and menus for the wedding yet she has less then 2 months till the wedding and hasnt booked hair or makeup or even had a trial

Really people like that make me wonder

BTW she is not having ANY oot guests and its a very small bridal party so there really is NO NEED for RD invitations

I really hate it when you talk smack about me on the boards

Maybe she needs one of those little checklists that tells you when you're supposed to get certain things done by. At this rate, she's going to have a hard time finding a hair or makeup person

damn! you know me too well!!!

i have 39 days and haven't had a trial ... but i didn't do my menus yet tho!!! i'm a procrastinator ...

lol

Its more that she is not ( or at least not showing it) worried about hair and makeup but instead going crazy about really non important issues.

I mean ESP. since she none of the bridal party is getting hair or makeup done and she is just ONE PERSON its really hard to get someone to come out to you!!! one person on a holiday weekend..

I totally understand her though...I'm so not into the make-up/hair trial but I've been working on all of the other stuff....

FYI: Because of this post I made an appt for my hair trial....(ugh! i can't wait...lol)

Sorry I didn't want to offend anyone its just I would think looking good would come before the stuff thats not necessary you know???

I feel bad b/c she finally called someone to do her hair and they won't come to her since its a friday and that is her busy day at the salon where she works..

eta. She still has NO CLUE who she will use for either and hasn't even really bothered looking

Here's the thing though -- anywhere else in the world, she would be absolutely fine not having gotten a makeup or hair person yet. But in NY, it's ridiculous. I remember calling people in August last year who were ALREADY booked for my wedding

I agree. Everyone likes certain things. Maybe the hair and makeup isn't as important as the RD.

No offense... I just don't want to deal with the hassle of it all... I'm not 'frilly' and I am having such touble figuring out what to do with my hair that I've been growing out for a year!

Maybe she is just really stressed and is not sure what she really needs to be focused on being that the date is coming and all. Maybe she is having total bridal meltdown and needs to be told 'hey you better find a hairstylist'

Also if worse comes to worse and she can't find anybody to come to her well then she might have to go to a salon Hope it all works out her
