some tipping help

Sorry, I know this has been asked but I can't find the answers. I am getting hair and makeup at a salon and I know it is customary to tip 20%. DO I have to do this for the trials and day of? I feel that I am already paying alot by paying the same for the trial and day of. (95X2 for hair and 65X2 for makeup). I don't wanna be cheap but come on this wedding is a money packman.

I only tipped $20 for my m/u trial and my hair was free but I would have done the same and maybe tipped a little more the day of-for what you spend on m/u I dont think there is a reason to go nuts
