Tom from Spin Around called to ask if it was okay that a couple come by for a few minutes during our wedding to check them out. - Somebody that is considering Oheka i guess. I am not thrilled w. the idea - but I like Tom and want him to get more business. I would be more thrilled if it were one of you!

OOOOOOOOH, I would not be happy with that JMO... I'm surprised he would ask that of you... I guess what can you say right?? Hopefully that couple will come to their senses and realize that listening to a DJ at someone elses wedding is a little tacky on their part I'm sorry, just my opinion.

In my opinion, very unproffesional. I booked Jim Lowe based on your recommendation and he NEVER said, why don't you come to Jenny's wedding and hear me. I will wait for your review just like this other couple should. Can you be a referral for your DJ's clients AFTER the wedding???

Jenny, now i know why you forum mailed me! I agree with the brides, even though I would love to see a wedding at OHEKA before I have mine there, I would never 'crash' one. The DJ should ask for your recommendation after your day.

I e-mailed him. He's been very understanding...I am sure he'll understand! It just takes away from the special quality of the day.

jenny, one hall i was considering took me & FH into a cocktail hour in progress , just because of this, I definately wouldn't book there.
These vendors are money hungry!

You know, I agree with jennbaby on this one. Woodbury Country Club did the same thing to me, and I did not book with them for that reason! I did not want them schlepping some poor couple into my cocktail hour while my wedding was in progress!

Jenny...I agree...thats one of the reasons that you booked OHEKA!! for that personal touch...and while the place is HUGE...the rooms are not...

you probably won't notice, but I think it is a bit brash of him to ask
