Strawberries!!!! I'm obsessed with strawberries. I can't take this anymore.
FH needs to help me win the lotto or rob a bank or something, so I can have tea service in unlimited china patterns so I can sit home all day having finger sandwiches with my stuffed animals.

Just think of it this way.... you can buy it yourself later... it's not like you're never able to ever again buy anything home related after your shower. I plan on buying myself a set of All-Clad for my wedding gift to myself because I'm pretty sure no one is springing for that at my shower. Eventually you'll have it, if you really want it.
Says the girl who bought herself a full set of Christmas china this year!

OMG! I too am obsessed with Strawberries! I sooo love them! My kitchen has strawberries! Collections etc... had a bunch of strawberry stuff a while ago! I need a new rug though bc my old strawberry rug is too dirty to be out anymore (you know those kitchen rugs?). I'll have tea parties with you and the stuffed animals... can I bring some of my animals too? Ha ha ha!

Ali, I think the first set of china you picked out is gorgeous. Stop second guessing yourself. And if you want more china down the line you can always talk FH into it. But I think you need a simple, timeless set of china to start with.
