A few brides who have recently gotten married tried to worn me that in the end you will drive yourself crazy with extras and really start racking up wedding bills...
I now have this idea in my head that I HAVE to have linen napkins w/ our monogram on it. It would set me back ALOT of $$$ yet I keep thinking to myself that I just must have it.
Would people even notice it?!!?!?

they would probably notice it... but i don't think anyone would notice if you didn't have them...
You need to do what makes you happy though - if it's going to be a huge amount of money and that's really going to effect your budget, then maybe you can decide to do without, but if it's not going to really effect you, then go for it.
I don't think that they will have a major impact in your wedding either way though - it will be beautiful and special and wonderful with or without the napkins

Thank you guys so much!!!!! I need someone to tell me no!!! My fh is so sick of the word I think he has given up on my all together. Plus he feels bad about how nervous I am and really wants to make me happy. You should see the list of extras I came up with last night!!!!!
And you guys have NO IDEA how many extras there already are for the wedding!!

Honestly, I am the same way, with the tinyest details, and a recent bride who is also a friend of mine, said she invested so much money on something soooo minute, and I am one who sees every little detail when I got to an affair didn't even notice it, I don;t think the napkins are worth it, seriously!!! Take it from someone as crazy as you are...

I am saving like a mad woman for a house plus I dont think I can leave my son for more then a day so we dont think we will be going on a HM

Monogrammed napkins? Do that as a registry item for just your own use...that would be nice to have in the house when entertaining...then people would really notice. Also complement it with nice napkin holders.
