Re: Someone stop me!
Girl, what you are wanting to do is called the 'newlywed chop' and almost every newlywed does it. We all grow our hair so long or keep it that way for our weddings, that afterwards we want freedom! If you're anything like me, your hair grows back fast - if so, go ahead and cut girl, it's only hair and it will grow back. Besides, you're gorgeous, it's not like you'll look bad! I too am dying to chop...but in a few months, I want my chubby face to slim down!

If you have a lot to chop off (over 10') go for it and donate it to Locks of Love. I did this almost a year ago and it was nice to do something nice while making a change for myself. Of course my hair is taking FOREVER to grow out and I want something to work ith for my wedding...but you don't have to worry about that since you are already married!

Wow, I would love to do something like that but if I cut off 10 inches I wouldn't have any hair!!
I may be able to pull it off but definitely don't want to go that short.

I say go for it. I just got this cut and even added highlights. My husband 'thought' he'd like me better with long hair. Now he tells me to never grow it again that he loves me with short hair. From looking at your picture, you can definitely pull it off. Just make sure you tell your hairdresser not to cut too short to where you can't pull it back in a ponytail. Worse comes to worse, if you hate it, you could wear your hair up until it grows back. GO FOR IT, you'll feel great afterwards

Good Luck. You're going to feel so good afterwards. Wait till you take your first shower washing your hair. It felt so weird for me.

If you do be careful on who does it. I did a drastic change and cut all my hair off once and it was the worst hair cut ever. The lady that did it was horrible and to boot it was expensive place.
Wow
Maybe you should just get a trim, take an inch or two off before you start chopping six inches away.

Re: Someone stop me!
I ended up getting 3 inches cut and decided to dye the bottom of my hair light brown and added some more highlights and lowlights on the top. It may sound really bad but it actually looks really nice, I definitely needed a change.

Yes, I wasn't brave enough to get a bob cut but I did get 3 inches cut off and also got a dye job.

Re: Someone stop me!
If you want it, then do it!! You can do it in stages like Leslie said! My hair is longer now, but when I had it shorter, FH loved it! He said it was easier to kiss my neck that way
