Fox Hollow has added six pictures of the Somerley in their website's gallery!!! It looks beautiful, but I can't wait to see it in person. I am super excited having booked the room with my fiance for May 19, 2012!

Re: Somerley pictures are up!
I was actually there today to make a payment and asked to see it b/c I couldn't wait. I think it looks great! The brick wall w/ fireplace is amazing! I do agree though they could have gone without that mural.

wow its come along so nicely!!
When we were looking they showed us a square of tile and random swatches and I could not envision.
But I'm glad for the girls who took the risk! It looks well worth it

The rates have gone up $25, FYI. I know so many of us are thankful for booking when we did.

Re: Somerley pictures are up!
Hi ladies!! I was at fox hollow this past Friday, Saturday and again on Monday! When we looked at the room on Friday they were still working on it, laying brick, painting, installing features, etc. It seemed like they had lots to do but they were confident that the room would be done for the wedding in there Saturday night. We were invited back on Saturday to see the room as they set it up for the wedding. It is amazing what they did and the room is STUNNING! The mural, in my opinion, adds to the ambiance of the room, and doesn't take away from it. There are still minor things they have to do (decorate hallways, add lounge furniture to cocktail space, add more lighting), but overall its gorgeous. If you haven't been by to see it, I highly recommend that you do go for a visit. You will love it!
The minimum for a Saturday night wedding is 130. They are no longer using pre-construction pricing They added an additional $25 pp after the first wedding, but you may be able to negotiate with them.
Hope this helps!

I can't wait to see the room in person!!! I was waiting until it was done to see what kind of flowers I would use. Love the chandliers and fireplace. The best thing about the room is that you can basically set it up anyway you want!!! Not to crazy about the mural so I might pu the band in front of it.

Re: Somerley pictures are up!
We stopped by and saw the Somerley yesterday! It is stunning! There is no downside to this room. They've thought of everything. I didn't think the mural was as random as it seems in the picture when I saw it in person, but I suspect it might have been a quick fix. The person showing us around was explaining that the artist who created the intricate white wall is still not finished with some of the details so maybe he is yet to get to the other side of the room. They definitely have some small details to finish like putting a mirror on top of the fireplace, finishing some lighting, and what was mentioned above. The bridal suite and picture suite/lobby are also spacious and gorgeous!
Congratulations to all of the brave brides who booked the Somerley in advance! I fully believe it was a risk worth taking!!! :)
