my great grandmother passed away 3 years ago and I wanted to use a broach of hers on my bouquet as my 'something borrowed.' The thing is that it has blue rhinestones in it and a few of them are missing (maybe 4 or 5). Do you ladies think I should restore them or leave it as is since its left the way she had it?

Re: something borrowed
I would leave them for the purposes of the wedding. I think to add to it is the subtract somewhat from the sentimentality of it.

Re: something borrowed
I agree. I would leave it as is. My father recently gave me a ladies pocket watch that was my paternal great grandmother's. When I was young my mother gave me my maternal great grandmother's rosary beads. I'll be wearing them both on my wedding day as my old. I'm also making up bouquet charms with my father's parents, both of FH's grandfathers and FH's cousin who passed away last year. FH doesn't want a memory table so I want to make sure I have something on me that represents those that have passed.
