Re: something borrowed and something old

When my grandmother passed away, she left her gold claddagh ring (direct from Ireland) to my cousin. I'm thinking of asking my cousin if I could wear it on my bracelet during the ceremony.

But if my mom has something I could borrow, I'd do that first. I just can't think of anything of hers.

Re: something borrowed and something old

Mine will be one in the same and it can also be considered new. I am having the pearls and crystals from my mom's headpiece (circa 1968) reworked into my own headpiece. Old, borrowed, and created to be new.

Re: something borrowed and something old

I borrowed my 'old' moms e-ring...and wore it as a necklace...

I also said that I 'borrowed' my FG from her parents...

I wanted to get an old bottle of wine to drink, but I pooped out at the end...
