One of my friends who can't make the wedding sent me some jewelry to wear as my something borrowed. HOWEVER, it doesn't really go with my gown. Could I wear the something borrowed with my RD dress instead?

It's up to you. My mom made a big deal about how technically your something borrowed is supposed to be worn when you get married (we were going to borrow the ring bearer pillow from when FH was a ring bearer) but other people borrow ideas which can't be worn so I think it's all in how you look at it.

The idea is to wear it on your wedding day. Maybe you can find something else to wear on the day of your wedding as your something borrowed.
