Has anyone else stepped outside this morning and smelled something burning?? I left work in Bethpage at 4am and smelled it...Came home to Queens, still smelling it...FH lives in Far Rockaway and he smells it too? Is there a brush fire somewhere from all the lightning last night?

i live in marine park in brooklyn and i smelling it also. i went by kings highway and it smells there also

Well, there is that HUGE brush fire burning in New Jersey!!! Depending on how the wind is blowing, this might help explain the smell!
