I agree that this place should not be run like kindergarden, but when you are on the receiving end of being called mean, insulting, bitter and worthless with these things $#@%^@#%& thrown in, you might feel a little different about what has been going on. Those are just the things that have been hurled at me and a lot of it was hurled in a 24 page thread which I never even posted on. I also didn't respond, because I do not want to play a part in pushing this site in the direction it is going.
When someone came on here and posted nasty things about how one lady looked in her wedding pictures, that person was hunted down and banned. Now when someone called someone fat, LIW only locked the post. Didn't even delete it - so it is still there, in all its nastiness, for everyone to see.
So no, I don't think we should have a time out board, but yes, I do think that LIW should do something.
BTW - When I said 'you' earlier, I had no specific person in mind. Just a general response

I think the point of this thread from LIW is to point out the ridiculousness of the stuff that's been going on recently and to let those know that it should stop. I haven't seen the posts with people cursing or name calling but in my opinion if ANYONE posts that kind of garbage I would have them banned. This is an internet board and you cannot control who will or won't decide to post in the first place. But you can control it to a certain extent. JMO.

Ive heard of people on here call each *****, idiot etc but no one ever made reference to someones physical attributes.

I don't let there immaturity and closemindedness bother me, but it upsets me when a joke is made baout the bahavior.
