Re: something in blue
There is a bride on here that's using them - she posted her engagement pics and they were incredible. If I hadn't already booked my photographer when I saw them, I would've checked them out. Their work was really impressive. Have no idea how they are price-wise though.

You're right, they are awesome. We used them for our wedding (some of our pics on their site) & couldn't be happier. I think they don't get much due recognition here as say...another popular wedding site.. because they're more 'city chic'. Their office is not in LI & might be out of the way for most. Plus they only do strictly photojournalistic, NO POSED PICS which is not everyones style. Maybe the last factor is price, they start at 5 grand with NO albumns.
We got over 1400 pics but they are all in Tif. so its a real pain in the a$$ to convert..these pics below are nowhere near the 'better ones' but thats all I have on this PC.
We are serously thinking about using them. Just love their style. Plus they shoot at Battery Gardens before. that also helps

Re: something in blue
They are great...I remember seeing a few brides who used them.
Most of the great photographers aren't mentioned enough on here.
All I really ever hear about is Duet. They're great too, but there definitely is more to the photography world then them.
ETA: I LOVE Melissa! Beautiful fall bride!

Re: something in blue
I'm using Something in Blue. They are more popular with Manhattan brides. I LOVE them. Their work in their studios were better than the ones they had online.
It isn't their style to do posed shots but they will cater to you. Of course I want some shots looking straight into the camera. I don't want ALL photojournalistic shots.
