I work with my sister (who isnt always great with discretion) and I heard her mention 'list' and 'Ed' at the same time when she was on her cell phone.
That same sister was standing with my closest work friends mentioning my MOH's name and 'telling her something' as I passed by (again BAD with discretion)
FH e-mailed me telling me to change one of my guests addresses so the invitation can get to her (I guess she was delayed in getting the shower invitation because the address was wrong) and I am wondering why he has this information - DUH.
I am naturally very in-tune with these things. I am playing dumb because even though I think I may know when the shower is, I dont want to ruin it for everyone who is working to plan. I am just curious to know how they are going to get me to the location (THAT I don't know) I guess we will wait and see!

I knew you'd get the shower you were wishing for.
Mine would seem so far off, but there is definitely something going on. I saw FH & my mom exchange $ last nite, and I was also asked about addresses. Something is brewing for me as well!

It is funny. I told FH how people at work need to be more discreet. You know how people try to hide surprises by playing dumb? Well everyone is playing dumb. I have been at my current employer for 10 years so there are a lot of people from work who I have developed friendships with over the years and are thus invited to the wedding and shower. I try not to ruin it for anyone but in talking to FH, he implied that they (BP) were all aware that I had to know something was going on. And every time I mention a 'shower', he makes this little smirk. I know we are all in wedding mode when we are here on LIW, but when you are in the home stretch, it is Wedding Mode FULL THROTTLE!!!! I have to think about it as something that I dont have to worry about OR plan (OR pay for ).
