something isnt right....

so i went to br in carle place and found the dress.. the feathery one that i posted a week ago.

they shipped the dress to the manhattan location so my mom could see it 2morrow.

ive been trying to find the dress online and i havent had luck. i have the style #. the tag said YSA.. but the saleslady says its a stephen yearick. so they mightve worked together on that particular dress??? i just called to ask her and she said its new.. but i dunno . i didnt get a straight answer.

so i called kleinfelds since they carry that designer..and nothing came up in their system

*** should i do? its a lot of money and im feeling a lil uneasy cuz i cant find it online.

what are you uneasy about? if its at the store then thats all that matters right?

Was it the sample that they wanted to sell you? Maybe if not it just got discontinued?

maybe u should call the designer directly. look up their number and call. did u also check that the designer works with this salon?

honestly I dont know why it would matter. u love the dress its beautiful on u, so who cares who made it.
obviously its JMO

honestly, it wouldn't bother me. barb this is your dress and it looks gorgeous on you, stop b!tching and just buy it already!

If the designer is that important to you, then I would find out. But if you really like the dress, then the designer doesn't really matter IMO. Good luck.

Barb I believe YSA Makino is a line of Stephen Yearick...

I kno bc my mom has been looking for MOB dresses at Bridal Reflections and this is what we were told

When my friend bought a Stephen Yearick gown, i tried desperately to find the gown online and I never found it. It doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but that the website probably leaves some gowns out or doesn't update itself that often.

I think you are ok. I know the designer of my gown does not list half of her dresses on her website and I was really confused when I was looking for one of her dresses too.

I send you an FM..Hope the picture came out. Some bridal salons put their own style numbers on the dress. They did this with my dress and totally confused me but I was still able to find it.
