have you guys figured out what you're gonna do for :something old , something new,something borrowed,something blue?

blue - i'm thinking of getting a garter with blue in it

old - possibly my mom's veil (which was her great grandmothers)

only thing i know is old

my e-ring is a 105 year old family heriloom!

my mom actually has some nice jewelry...maybe i'll borrow something from her... i have to remember to look at her stash when i go over her house again.

Ooh, good question! I forgot about doing this.

I guess my dress will be new, and... after that I don't know.

something new: my dress and wedding band
something blue: either panties and a garter belt...or i am having the inside of my dress stitched with blue thread saying Kevin and Kristin, now and forever

Something Borrowed: My MOH's bracelet that she wore for her wedding
Something Blue: Probably my panties

Old: My Grandmother's garter... all of the girls in the family wear it, it's kind of tradition that the last bride hands it off to the next bride at her bridal shower and since my grandmother has passed it means so much more... we were BALLING at my cousin's shower because it was the first time the garter was passed and she wasn't there

New: My dress

Borrowed: ??? Perhaps perfume or something... who knows.

Blue: My skivvies!

Old and blue - a bracelet with sapphires my Grandma gave me for my confirmation

Borrowed-- not sure

New- new jewelery ( hopefully FH gets the hint that i want diamond earrings )

wow i have no clue...The only one i do know is the something blue which will be my blue yankees garter

New, well i wont know until close to the date hahahaha

Old-hmmm i have no clue and no clue for borrowed either.

Old: nooo clue! i was thinking maybe a hankerchief or something like that from my gma

New: either my dress or jewelry...or i guess i could consider my veil new too...

Borrowed: no clue on this one either...i guess maybe jewelry?

Blue: either blue embroidery or blue undies/garter

old - the diamonds i'm having set in my wedding band, they were collected from my grandmother's grandmother and her sister.

new - i guess the dress??

borrowed - still not sure on this. that's tough...

blue - i'm going with some of the other girls...probably my undies!!

old: something from my nonna who passed away in 2005 - dont know what yet

AND something from my nonna in italy. . .she passed away in the 60s when my mom was 16 and i am named after her. I always knew I wanted something of hers to wear for my wedding. But, a few years ago my grandfather died. . . the day of the funeral ( in Sicily) the whole town was at the cemetary. . . and these disgusting human beings broke into my grandfather's house and sstole EVERYTHING to the CARPETS, furniture jewelry, even towels!!!!! so we had nothing of my grandma EXCEPT for a handmade pair of underwear that she embroidered. . . she wore them when she was pregnant and they are HUGE bloomers. so my mom is going to cut out the design and sew it into my dress. . . its so nice bc she sewed them herself. . . then when i am done i have to send them back to italy for my cousin getting married there. . .i keep telling FH i am going to actually wear them!
