Something old, new, borrowed, blue
For the tradition sake, should these things be on you for your wedding day as in wearing or just something you have on your wedding day?

Re: Something old, new, borrowed, blue
I was wondering that too. I think it should be with you when you walk downthe aisle. So,for example,a purse wouldn't count as say, borrowed, because it wouldn'tbe on you when you walk down the aisle. But something tied to your bouquet, would count.

Yes I think they are all supposed to be on/attached to you somehow

Re: Something old, new, borrowed, blue
I never thought of it that way. I just thought it was something you had that day. I was going to use my BM pocketbook as my borrowed. I guess I should do something else that's 'attached' to me?

Or you could choose another color like something red or something orange...make it something that holds a sentiment for you or attachment to the day...

Re: Something old, new, borrowed, blue
My wedding colors are light blue and silver so that takes care of the blue... probably a blue garter.New- may dress
Old- a piece of my mother's dress that will be used to tie the bo-kays together
Borrowed- I'm stuck on. I might ask my Godmother if I could look through her jewelry and wear something. I have an exact picture of the pearl/diamond earrings I would love to wear and get as my last treat to myself but we'd probably have to sell our house
I'll be giving my FH the cufflinks my mom gave my Dad for their wedding day... touching because my mom is deceased.

Re: Something old, new, borrowed, blue
I am missing something borrowed...something new is my dress, something blue is my blue underwear
and my something old is my mom's veil. I may use my mom's wedding band for the ceromony and that could be my something borrowed! Welcome New Vendors
