Re: Something Old, Something New...

So far i only have the 'something borrowed'. it is my sister's headpiece that she and my other sister both wore on their wedding days, so as the 3rd and last sister i am going to wear it also!

My something blue will likely be my shoes.

Something old - have no idea.

Something new - i guess could be my dress

Something Old, Something New...

Thanks ladies! My Something New I was thinking could be my dress also, so I will probably do that.

I'm torn on the something borrowed & something old. My grandma recently passed away so I like the necklace idea for something old.

My something Blue I'm planning to do my shoes too and my garter is actually blue also!

Something Old, Something New...

IM not 100% sure yet but here's how it stands:

Old: not sure yet!
New: dress!
borrowed: probably a clutch from my mom. she has a really pretty embroidered one.
blue: I'm having the top couple of buttons down the back of my dress covered in a blue fabric

Something Old, Something New...

I wanted to use the friendship rings my grandparents gave each other when they were dating. They have been together over 60 years and still going strong! I just don't know how to wear it. My friend told me to pin it on the inside of the dress but towards the bottom half of the dress cause that's where it's looser. But I don't feel safe doing that and it makes me nervous that I can't see it. God for bid it falls off and I have no idea!

Re: Something Old, Something New...

I asked all my guests top give me a brooch for my wishing well gift for my shower so I could make a brooch bouquet.
something old is my late grandmother's and late mil's broochs
Something new brooches from all my guests
Something borrowed I think I'm gonna barrow my late grandmother's watch
Something blue....idk yet but I'm leaning towards buying these underwear from lane Bryant that say something blue on them with blue lace trim lol
