something similar to duet??

Original post by manda1285

I was wondering if anyone knows of any photography companies that are similar to duet in their style of photography (photojournalistic?)...my friend called them up to book them for her December 2013 wedding and they were booked!

Any suggestions??

Check celestial. Lou and his crew are amazing and can do any style you want or a mix of styles, i know people who have insisted on all photojournalistic pix then were devastated they didnt have any posed pictures. His prices were best and he has you pay as you go so it isnt like you pay thousands before you have anything in your hand. There is comfort in that! I will tell you there are stories on here often of people waiting forever for albums having already paid, this cant happen with celestial. Plus he does beautiful work. I think if he charged more people would value him more! Since he works from an office in his home and tries to be fair, people dont get how incredible he is. Do yourself a favor and check him out! Xoxo best LL

Really! Gina actually quoted me more than Angel Project. That's weird

she was already booked on my date so she didnt give me the 2013 prices- i was basing off 2012 i guess!

She won't be disappointed. His work is amazing and he has a fast turn around time so she won't be waiting months to get her pics. My friends still rave about him and they can't wait to see him again at our wedding

Yay! I'm sure they will look lovely! We already had e-pics done, so TJ is giving us the engagement session (and the two extra hours we won't need the day of) afterward for another session elsewhere. Exactly what I wanted!!! At no extra charge!

Re: something similar to duet??

i have been to a ton of photographers and they ALL do photojournalistc photography.. most places now go with two photographers one specifically for that and one for the traditional shots too....there are sooooo many good photographers....

Im using David with ***** Photography, if you go there tell him Kristen sent you.

Ada is also good
Patken has reasonable prices
brett matthews (waaaaay to expensive and doesnt give you a lot)
NorthIsland Photography (has antique look)
Marco Photography is good

there is so many out there dont settle until you see them all :)

hope this helps
