My mom already made it clear she doesn't like the idea of a mother daughter dance. She went on an on about it. I really wanted to do it for her but when she says no about something she means it. I am definatley giving her a big thanks in our wedding programs but I don't feel that's enough. Any suggestions on what I could do? I am thinking about this 24/7 and haven't been able to come up with anything. I could use some advice from you wonderful ladies! TIA!!!

Okay, I need to know what does tia stand for?? I just can't figure it out.
Years ago my mother told me that the first song she heard after giving birth to me was 'Could i be I'm Falling in Love'. I am going to dedicate that to her at my wedding. Ask her what her favorite song was when you were a baby. Then you could dedicate it to her.

i wouldnt do the dance if she doesnt want it. my mom didnt either but i did thank her in the program and i dedicated her favorite song to her. you can also take her to a day spa to relax with you before the wedding

as a mother's day gift, each year i take her on a wine tour. i buy a bottle of her favorite wine at each winery and then we go out for a nice dinner in greeport or something. i think what i like the most is that it is just a day for the 2 of us.

At my MOH's wedding se did a tribute and explained to everyone how much her mom means to her. How she made her who she is today and owes everyone of her successes to her mom. THere was not a dry eye in the house- it was really beautiful and very touching.

My moms anniversary was 2 days after our wedding. We had the DJ accounce it and they danced alone to their wedding song.
