How about answering the phone when it's ringing?? Except it's the phone on TV that's ringing and not your home phone??


My favorite is when I answer the doorbell at my parents house and no one is there. It's the blasted TV doorbell again!

Oh God I hate that!!!!

One time DH asked me if I wanted to make the fish for dinner (we had fish in the freezer he had caught) and I thought he meant the fish in the fish tank. I looked at him horrified and said 'I don't think it will be enough food' Okay I must have been really tired that day!!! He still hasnt let me forget that one!

one morning at work, i was getting coffee and making oatmeal at the same time, and the hot water was next to the coffee.....and i went to pour the hot water into my oatmeal cup, but accidentally picked up the coffee instead.......ruined my oatmeal....and it ws the only packet i had there......i was very sad that day

I used to work in a gourmet deli and take orders for deliveries by phone. On day while writing down an order the person said they wanted a sliced pickle but instead I wrote down 1 sliced customer. You can imagine the looks on the faces of the people that put together the orders. I got made fun of for the rest of the summer for that one.

About 2 years ago, right after Christamas my FH and I had to return a cordless phone we had gotten as a gift to Circuit City. I am sure you all know what the return lines look like there at that time. Anyway the only reason we had to go was to return this phone. We get to the store, park the car and when he closed the car door he was like, do you have the phone with you so I say yeah yeah its in my bag. Well we got inside and wait online for 45 minutes to get to the counter and when the woman asks what we are returning I just stared at her with a blank face. Then I realized that I never took the phone with me. When my FH had asked me if I had the phone I thought he was talking about my celll phone in case anyone calls. It never clicked even during the 45 minutes on line that the thing we were returning was sitting in the car. Oops

This was a few years ago but my mom and I went into Mcdonalds and my we were waiting online forever. Finally we get to the front and my mom orders and goes ok what do you want?? and I go.. ohh I'll have a big mouth!! and she goes I think you already do!! and all the mcdonalds workers cracked up!!!
( I ment to order a big mac)

Went for a massage the other day to unstress, kept my underwear on for the massage....

...went to take a shower to get the oils off because I had a dinner date with FILs and stepped right into the shower with my underwear on. It was, like, 30 seconds before I even realized!!

Had to go commando to the dinner!!

Just thought of another one:

FH and I went to the movies the other night and the ticket-taker said, 'enjoy the show' and I said 'Thanks, you too!' FH was like 'Uh....they aren't going into the movies, they work here.' Duh!

I think we are making Jessica Simpson look like a genius with this thread!!!!!!!

I have also gone around the whole house screaming ' WHERE IS THE REMOTE???' after 10 min. my fh was like ummmmm have you looked in your hand maybe?????? Duh!!! lol I thought I was holding the phone!! lol
