Sometimes Im... (invite related)

so silly! I just realized I ordered more invites than we really needed. It was only an $11.00 mistake but I'm debating whether or not to email them and tell the to adjust it from 100 invites to 75 if possible.

FH and bro in law (what am i doing asking only men...all the ladies are sleeping) say leave it.... Its only 11 dollars and who knows if you may make mistakes on envelopes or decide to invite more ppl or whatever. I just feel stupid if we end up with 50 extras!

Maybe I'm with you on the over-tired thing, but I agree with the guys - leave it. It's not that much money, and you may end up using them for last minute additions to the guest list, families may want extras for posterity's sake, etc. HTH!

I agree, I wasnt freaking out or anything but after feeling like an @ss for a few after I realized what I did, the guys convinced me it was just a stupid overtired mistake and to leave it since it was such a cheap mistake. ya never know how things can change i guess. might as well keep the order as is. thx!

I would not worry about it. Leave it, you are right you never know how many might get messed up,.

Jess, don't worry - it's not a stupid mistake. Honestly, you never know what could happen, so leave it. It would annoy me too, but maybe you ordered too many for a reason and you'll need them or something.

Definately leave it. I learned the hard way. You end up maing mistakes on envelopes, or you may add people to your guest list, or you may need invites for other things: like one for you to keep, one for your DOC, etc. So, its alwasy better to have extra.

I say leave it too. You might make mistakes, or you might need to invite a few more people at the last minute. Plus you might want to keep a few copies for yourself. It's always better to have a few extra instead of not enough. Especially since it was only 11 dollar difference. I got a bunch of extras too.

I would definitely keep the extra, especially since it's only an extra $11. Lol, what's $11 after all the money that gets spent for a wedding? I ordered extra and I'm glad I did because so many of my envelopes got messed up in the printer. I actually might end up having to order more envelopes. Plus it's good to have them in case you think of more people you want to invite.

id leave it.....you never know if you do need extra at last minute! Or if you want a few for you to save! for 11$...i save leave it and move on!

you have NO idea what mistakes i have made with not getting we need an invite stamp PER couple NOT per person .. on the stamps i bought a stamp per person so i bought 130 stamps !!! I only need 65 .. it was a whole big mess cuz my invites only needed .39 cent stamps the .65 stamps were to much i exchanged all my stamps for the new .41 cent stamps .. lets just say i won't be needing stamps for awhile my FH just laughed in the end but i was freaking out on all the $$ i wasted .. those stamps came out to $132 !!! so your $11 mistake i wouldn't worry to much about

Definitely leave it, we had SO many invites returned that we used all the extra ones we had stupid post office

DONT CHANGE IT! Leave it..I was told to always order a little more than you need..for last min. guest invites..and sometimes you make mistakes...and you need extras...def. leave it. besides its only 11 bucks

I would leave it for the envelope reason!
