somtimes i hate.......

my family....

why must they talk about my business ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

does anyone ever think that maybe i want to spread the good news MYSELF!?!?!??!?!!? and not for nothing, there isnt even 'news' yet - and i feel like its bad luck for everyone to know about this house thing....its not guaranteed that we are going to get it......

ugh especially when it comes to money - that really bothers me i got an email about the offer i made being a great price - all this person knew was that we were looking - so someone else told them how much we offered.....and it wasnt my parents who blew up my spot - lucky for them b/c i would have went nuts on them! but it really bothers me.....

Situations like that are annoying. My Mom told everyone in our family and some of our friends about our engagement before FH even did it (he had asked my parents before we left for vacation). I even said to her 'what would have happened if someone said something before he did it?' Right over her head!

Ahh YES I agree, I remember I was soo worried about the house when we were closing FH went and ran his mouth to his mom the very next weekend EVERYone knew and was like scrutinizing the area, schools, how many bathrooms...by the end it came back to us that we were buying a house that didn't have a shower. ***?? totally NOT true. they get dramatic about the stupidest things.

ugh yeah things like that REALLY bother me - especially when it could potentially ruin a surprise like an engagement!!

i called FH to tell him how i was so annoyed and guess what - his grandpa already knows - i was like W_T_F - dont your parents think that maybe YOU wanted to tell grandpa? or that we didnt want to tell anyone at all? i emailed my mom and i told her when i get preggers i aint telling anyone until the baby is born ugh its like EVERY single time this happens! i didnt even get a chance to tell anyone our wedding date because of this!

i know they are only spreading the word because they are excited but they dont realize that it takes the fun out of it for us - they dont realize how rude and inconsiderate they are being i really didnt think that i would have to say 'its a secret please dont tell everyone in the family' i thought they would let US tell but apparently that isnt that case

WOW. That would have really irked me - I hate when people know things about my money situation, whatever it is. Do you know who said it? It probably won't make a difference, because people who say things like that will never understand that it's not cool to do it - but I would have a word with them anyway, just to make sure they know I was p*ssed.

I feel your pain, when dh and I purchased land to build our home it was like handing my mom a bull horn she blabbed to everyone, then at our gift opening my sister overheard her telling an aunt what it was costing us to build, and my sister had to pull my mom aside and politely tell her to keep her mouth shut, that I and especially my dh does not like our bus. ran to everyone. so now I learned to tell my mom and anyone else as little as possible.
