SONG AIRLINES (Part of Delta) will stop flying as of May 2006!

Saw this on the 1010 Wins site...this is friggin great that is the airline that we are supposed to fly on for our honeymoon in July! I was excited because I heard they were really good and you got to pick your own meal!

Now what????

Maybe it's a part of their Bankruptcy? I thought they filed a few months ago. It worried me because I booked our HM through Delta frequent flyer miles, but maybe they need to cut some flights?

I LOVE Song!

And we were saving up all these delta skymiles! For what? For nothing! Back to good old JetBlue. I should never have left you..

Song will continue to fly as a separate brand and customers will be able to book flights on Song until May 2006. The aircraft will then be scheduled on high-demand routes throughout the Delta network during the transition, replacing wide-body aircraft that will be re-deployed from domestic to international destinations as part of the largest international expansion in Delta’s history. Through the end of 2006, Delta will reconfigure the Song fleet into the new two-class, long-haul standard and introduce them on transcontinental routes

Sounds to me like you'll still be able to go- just you cant book anymore until after may 2006...make sure you look into it before you jump ahead and change
