song for walking down the aisle

Ok so I'm not sure if this sounds dumb or if other brides have experienced this...I found the song I want to walk down the aisle to. Actually, I want this one song played while everyone walks down the aisle. This will include FH, parents, best man, MOH, one bridesmaid/groomsman, flowergirl and finally ME! I don't know if anyone has ever timed how long it takes for everyone to walk down, but the song I want is approximaetly 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Flowerfield has an extremely long aisle. I'm wondering if the song is a good length, or too long or too short?

song for walking down the aisle

I would suggest you practice bc my song was about same length and i started getting nervous that it was coming to an end and ended up rushing everyone. Be on the safe side and maybe have a backup up song for you.

song for walking down the aisle

my friends kid sister (who is like my little sister) is going to be playing her guitar for us when we walk down the aisle. The BMs will be walking down to a slowed down version of the beginning of 'Seven Nation Army' by The White Stripes and I will be walking to a slower version of 'Enter Sandman' by Metallica :)

song for walking down the aisle

I have a family friend who is a part of 4 piece orchestra...I am thinking about using them for ceremony music.

Otherwise talk to whoever is playing your ceremony music and see what they say. Maybe split it up into 2 songs. songs for everyone before you and a separate song for you?

song for walking down the aisle

I used 'right here right now' by agnes. It is 4:28 and the whole BP walked into it.

I searched a long time for a song I wanted to use. Good luck.

Re: song for walking down the aisle

FH is giving me fits because I dream of walking down the aisle to an opera singer doing Nessum Dorma. He doesn't think it's appropriate and the church may not let us do it anyway. I'm still pushing for it
In any case, I am definitely having music played instead of recorded so the musicians can speed it up or slow it down as needed
