song help...please.

I need to figure out a song for us to walk into the reception to....FH refuses to pick something....he said: 'the DJ will be playing CDs and/or MP3s and can play whatever we request that day.'

he doesn't listen when i say that the requests have to be in next week! MEN!

It doesn't even have to be a song on this list....I just thought it might help with brainstorming. I'm a huge Matchbox 20/Rob Thomas and Sister Hazel fan...FH is a huge Counting Crows and Dave Matthews fan...but none of those groups really have great wedding songs.

I can't decide if the song should be FAST/UPBEAT or SLOWER/CALMER/MORE ROMANTIC..... I've fried my brain thinking of every other aspect of this wedding....so I really wanted FH to help on this ONE song...he refuses!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you guys have a favorite movie or anything that might have had a song from it? What about a first date or something...

I'm not sure how many (If ANY) couples did this, but we're going to have the DJ announce us and kind of walk in to our first dance song and just walk in and on to the floor.

i'd say collectively, we both adore how to lose a guy in 10 days, 10 things i hate about you and kate & leopold...we have watched those 3 movies more than any other movie (though FH likes to claim he hates all 3 now...guys are weird).

somebody like you (keith urban) is on the CD for that very reason...it's in how to lose a guy in 10 days.

hmmmm....this does give me something to think on.
