Mrs2Be and Jacki....I am a HUGE DMB fan!!! I like the idea of walking in to So Right, good choice!! I was trying to figure out a good song to use for our first dance (by DMB) but it was hard. (Maybe I'll back you up or lover lay down???) I also love the song Crush or Crash into Me...might use those for our entrance as well. Too many choices! Hee hee.

I think we might be using either 'I'm Too Sexy' or 'You Sexy Thang' for our bridal party to enter the room. Those songs fit our friends perfectly and I think it would be so funny. :)

We used Beautiful Day and it was perfect for us! I know this sounds cheesy but we felt like stars during our introduction!!!!!!!! It was so fun!!!!!!!

Seems like we have lots of Dave Matthews Band fans here. We are also huge DMB fans (we actually went into the city the day they were at David Letterman on the roof and we were selected to go up since they had some extra space to fill... it was the most amazing time ever!) We are also trying to figure out what DMB song to enter to. We had originally said So Right (or at least will dance to that sometime during the night) but I was afraid like someone else said, that the MC would get drowned out by the words. So we still aren't sure.

Well, my DJ is going to introduce us, and then cue the song right up to the chorus. So we would be walking in to:

He will NOT be talking while the lyrics are playing. I'm doing all techno songs for my girls because my DJ said he can't play songs with lyrics while he's introducing us. (well, I guess he can, but he's talking over the lyrics)

We are HUGE DMB fans!! I've seen them in concert so many times...

The song on their new album might be good to dance with 'Where are you Going' I love Lover Lay Down and we're going to dance to that as well - not as our first song, but during the night!

I have all their albums so let me know what you decide to do if you want other suggestions!!

We also used U2......all i want is you for the 1st dance. i was a little worried because we had a band, but they did an unbelievable job! my friend also used beautiful day for there intro, it was great!

I had been thinking of using the DMB song Ants Marching for the introductions, just the music at the beginning of the song, not the words. But I don't think it's enough of a party/dancing song. I would also love to include the song Where Are You Going from the new album at some point during the reception. we'll see. thanks for all the suggestions girls!

'Two Step' would be a great intro song...the intro is about 1:20, and the lyrics 'Celebrate we will, 'cause life is short but sweet for certain....'

It's such a happy, celebratory song (I'm trying to get FH to agree to use it)!!!

I think we are going to use Get the Party Started by Pink for our BP enterance and U2's Beautiful Day for us (seems to be a popular one).

and I wanted the beginning of the song SOMETHING by lasgo so I can dance

Isn't She Lovely (Instrumental/Stevie Wonder). If you're having a DJ vs. Band, take into consideration that the song played is most likely the original (with lyrics) and the DJ has to make announcements over it.
