Song to be introduced by

Any suggestions on what song we should be introduced to. I was thinking of Beautiful Day by U2, but now Im having second thoughts.....

II'm using beautiful day by u2 also. No doubts here! What is your first dance song? We are using all I want is you by u2- notice the theme???? It wasn't intended! Is this cheesy?

I don't think it's cheesy at all. We love U2 and that was a way that I thought that it can be played that night. Our first song is Truly and then goes into Unforgettable. Big difference.....

Everything is just about done. Just have to pick up our wedding bands. I cannot believe that I (we) are getting married next week. Sounds weird. How are your plans?

We're doing So Right by Dave Matthews Band.

Big fans and we wanted to incorporate their music in somehow!

is everyone being introduced the traditional way? I'm trying to think of different ways (i.e., not a football stadium-type entrance), but haven't come up with anything.....

we're going to be introduced to a dave matthews song too, but i don't know which one. what song is your bridal party coming in to? at first i paid the d.j. to do personalized entrances, where we pick a song for each person/couple, but that seemed to be a waste of money since i can't even come up with 2 songs for them to come in to! our friend is doing 'beautiful people' by marilyn manson (not that i'm a fan though!) and i'd kind of like to stay with something like that, rock music about cool people. any ideas? thanks everybody!

This wasn't planned, but when our bridal party was introduced, the guys carried the girls in, all except my friend Tracey, who carried her partner (my brother) in. It was hysterrically funny to watch on video and to see when we got our proofs, since Pat and I had no idea they were going to do that.

if it helps make a decision, I've heard that instrumental only is the way to go with the introductions, like the beginning of a cool song before the words start. If you pick a song based on the words, they are going to get drowned out with the MC talking and introducing you, and I have also heard that it makes the introductions harder to hear on the video, if you're having one. good luck!

We are having the re-mix of 'Heaven' I love the words and it has a great dance beat.

We are going to enter the room to a longer intro of our first dance song, then go right into our first dance.

Our DJ Get In Tune gave us a sheet with many different songs to choose from.Ask your Dj or Band to do the same.Good luck

Oh I forgot to say that we used the intro to Heaven Must Have Sent You by Bonnie Pointer. It has a great drumroll in the beginning, and a very upbeat tempo.

we didn't want football stadium music either and had a tough time deciding...we finally chose Love and Marriage...I know its the Married with CHildren theme and can get quite annoying, but it was a hard task to find a song...
