Songs for Video

Have you guys given any thought to this yet? My videographer wants us to tell him now

We have thought about it a lot-- but can't decide on any!

I loved one of the videos that was on the sample-- when I see you smile-- it was really beautiful. But I don't know what we want to use yet!

For the part when I am getting ready it will be Nick Lachey 'Beautiful'

For the recap we are doing a song by The Muse, I forget the name of it but it is awesome

I am not sure what we are doing for the rest

I'm always thinking of what music I want for each part of the wedding. For the video, I think during my pics, I want Sweet Child Of Mine by Gun N Roses. For a song when showing pics of me and him together, I want You're My Best Friend by Queen.

I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, and there's a part of me that really likes the rock/alternative type music. But obviously that kind of music isn't the best music to dance to at a wedding. So I'm trying to use more rock or alternative songs for little things at the wedding, like the video, as a way of incorporating it in there and getting a variety played throughout the night.

Ok duh, I just re-read the original post, and I'm thinking you were asking for music for your wedding video. For some reason, I was thinking of music for a slideshow for the wedding. Hahaha.

But I still stand by my choices cause I like those songs, haha.

I'm a big fan of Bryan Adams - 'A New Day'. I'm definitley using it in my video somewhere but I'm not sure what segment yet??!!!?? I'm thinking of either the recap or the getting ready.

OOOHHH, and for getting ready Faith Hill - 'Beautiful' is SUCH a pretty song. FH LOVES IT!!! which is kinda wierd in a way but it is very pretty.

So funny that you brought this topic up! All last night I was searching for songs, but nothing has struck me yet!I want something pretty intense, I want to watch it and cry...

I have, but I haven't figured every song out yet...

I know when i'm getting ready, I went them to play (The Fact Is) I Need You by Jill Scott, omg I love that song, i'm listening to it right now and im getting teary eyed (you can hear it on the playlist on my page)
