Sonicstef-Ceremony music
I was just reading old topics, and saw you had asked me this question, so I apologize for the late reply.
I am having a ceremony, not a mass, so there would be additional music needed for a mass.
I am having the organist, a violin, a flute and a soloist. Luckily, my parish has all these people available.
Prelude music with instrumentals only:
Rondeau; Ode to Joy; Trumpet Tune; Jesu, Joy of Man's Desire; One Hand, One Heart (this may have the soloist).
Attendants' Processional: Canon in D
Bride's Processional: Trumpet Voluntary
Lighting of the Unity Candle by parents, Lighting of the Memorial Candle, and placement of Flowers on Mary's Altar: Ave Maria
Responsorial Psalm: On Eagle's Wings (Psalm 91) this will just be the song sung rather than an actual responsorial.
Gospel Acclamation: Celtic Alleluia
*****Additional Mass Music Would Be Here*****
Couple's Lighting of the Unity Candle: Wedding Song
Recessional: Wedding March; Hornpipe will play as the guests leave...the music director suggested this as we are having the receiving line.
Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, let me know.
