Well, I had one at like 4 weeks and all you could see was the sac. So the dr. said I was pg but we needed to wait a couple of weeks to confirm. I had my first 'real' one at 6 weeks...it basically looked like a line or a peanut with a heart beating. That is what the dr. was mainly looking for - the heartbeat. It didn't really look much like a baby until the 9 week sonogram -- it looked like a gummy bear! s to you!!

Re: Sonogram?
I had my first one at 6 weeks and it looked like a little poppy seed in the sac. But it already had a heartbeat - it looked like a curser blinking on the screen. At 9 weeks, yes, it looked like a gummy bear, we could see its arms moving about!

Re: Sonogram?
We had our first at 7 weeks. I could tell what it was from seeing the movemnet on the screen but I doubt anyone else could make heads or tails from the picture. It does look like a peanut that early on.
