Sonogram -NWR

Sonogram -NWR

I had to have a sonogram today, not because I'm preggers or anything, just because I have annoying cysts that rupture once in a while, although this time is led to a nasty UTI, so they wanted to check my kidneys, this means I had to do it with a full bladder which I have never done before.

Might I just say that was very uncomfortable for me, in soooooo many ways.

on a lighter note, everything is fine. sorry in advance for the TMI.

I thought they always had to be somewhat full so they could see better, right?

not always, internal ones require empty bladders. i get those everything 3 months because I get cysts all over and its routine, haven't had anything serious, its just a little painful when they rupture. external, when they apply the gel on ur belly and on ur sides for the kidneys, they need a full bladder. i dunno.

it was just hard to hold it in....i dont know about the rest of you, but I absolutely have no control over my brain when I have a full bladder, maybe it's just me. lol.

OMG! It's so hard to hold it in when they are pushing on your stomach!! Glad everything came out OK!! I have the same issues with the cysts, and fibroids and the internal sono's... STINKS!!

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh... one time, I went to the gyno and they needed a urine test.... Well, I didn't have to pee, so i was there FOREVER trying to make myself pee... Then after I FINALLY went, they told me they were doing a sonogram and I needed to have a full bladder... I was like we totally did this backwards............ very annoying

glad everything is ok. those are annoying!! I had cysts once when they did a sono, and then it was gone...same with fibroid. my body is so fuckkked up in that dept. so annoying!! I guess they can come and go depending on your cycle and stuff.

glad it was all good!

they told me BC controls it. I'm on it, don't work. LMAO.

I just use a heating pad or ice pack, i just get concerned when it leads to something I'm not familiar with, like the UTI, I rarely got those in my life.

OMG! I have a very similar cyst problem! I have even had to have emergency surgery because of them.

Those sonograms are the worst! On the last one, I literally told the tech, if you're not done in like 1 minute, I am going to pee all over your table. I almost did lol
