So since we now have to change our date to a Friday night in August, the outside areas of halls are much more important then they were before to us.
So could you please recommend your beautifully landscaped halls to me? :)
(PS Friday Night in August, and we want to TRY to stay under $100 per person if we can)

The Riviera has a very nice outside area, both for CH and for pictures and for the guests to just hang out during the evening when not inside.
I believe that the most I have seen it cost (before tax and gratuity) is $98pp. And they have been great in throwing in extras for FH and I so you will get a lot for your money - there is a lot included in the package.

ITA- the Riviera is beautiful outside. I went to a wedding there in February, and it was warm enough for people to go outside. So nice- right on the water!

The only 2 dates I even considered were March 13th (My dads birthday) and August 12th (my parents anniversary)
My dad died a year and a half ago and it just meant a lot to me to have a date that would remind me of him.
FH's dad called last night and told us we couldn't do march 13th bc his grandmother died that day. So now we're back to August. which I dont think we can afford. So we need to try to stay at or under 100pp and cut our guest list to make it happen
I wanna punch someone lol

i know that FH dad called and his mom died on that day, but that's HIS mom - what does that have to do with your wedding date? you should keep the 13th if you can't afford august and i think you should be very clear with him and let him know that if you can't afford august, this is the date you would like because it has special meaning to you. i know its sad that HIS mom died on the 13th, but its a spocial day for you.

originally that was what i said. but i dont want to start drama with his family before the wedding lol i've been playing with numbers, and i think we'll be able to afford it. its just gonna be super tough.
hopefully we can negotiate on everything

CLM!!! they have real palm trees flown in at the beginning of May and you really cant beat the water and the sunset ( i know i may be a little biased) but it is definatly worth taking a look. And plus i do believe you will be able to keep it under 100 pp after tax and tip
