we took ours at the arboredum in oakdale. Its really big... its on the water so you can get water shots and you can get greenery and flowers also. they also have an historic building on the grounds so you can get good pics with that in the background

Do most couples get engagement pics right after engagement or when they've gotten wedding plans set up already? My fiance and I got engaged on V-day but haven't decided on any wedding details yet (other than probably May 2009) and haven't taken pics yet. Is this normal or am I behind schedule?? Thx!
Most people take epics after they have their photographer booked since alot of photographers offer an engagement shoot in their packages
