How many cancellations did you get once you already had all your RSVPs in?
My friend who just got married told me to hold off doing seating charts as long as possible because she drove herself crazy redoing them after getting several cancellations

I had one cancellation (2 guests) soon after they had sent their yes RSVP and one no-show because of an issue with a friend's flight. That worked out okay too because my aunt decided it would be appropriate to let my cousin bring her boyfriend at the last minute, even though he RSVP'd NO.

I had quite a few people show up that rsvp'd no and quite a few not show that rsvp'd yes...so it all ended up equaling out. It is frustrating though....

We had 3 cancellations...1 had the flu and was coming from Virginia and she was majorly bummed to be missing the wedding. The other 2 was a couple and the husband has cancer and isn't taking the treatments well, so they couldn't make it.
Then I had 1 no-show. A friend of mine who I really can't consider a friend anymore. I didn't even notice she wasn't there until the next day, but still, I paid for your plate you didn't show up? W T F?

That is true; they won't have the correct number of settings. I had a friend hold onto the placecards for those people I 'omitted'. She put them out for me when she got to the RH.
Then all they did was add settings when people got to their respective tables.

Just one. Our friends wife had a baby a day before the wedding. He came for a few hours but she obviously was still in the hosp. with baby. At least it was a good thing.
