FBIL and a friend of ours is taking the Suffolk Police test too. I couldnt believe when I read it in the newspaper today that 29,000 people are taking the test!
And then if you multiply that by the $100 everyone pays to take the test....that's 2.9 million dollars! And we still pay taxes because why???

Good luck to your FH. My FH is taking it tomorrow as well and he is going to be in Smithtown. So is his best man, my brother, my co-worker's boyfriend, FHs coworker and about a million other people I know! It is crazy! About 30,000 people are taking the test and they are only taking about 100-130ish. It is going to be so hard, good luck to all that are taking it!

I heard that too! Thats crazy and they are accepting only 100 for the next 4 years!

I knooooooow. MY FH is taking it tooo...couldnt believe 20 something thousand are taking it....I dont think people realize that only 200 or so will actually MAKE IT IN.......the chances are really slim...but maybe its much better some dont realize so it doesnt discourage them!

Good for him! There aren't too many guys out there who put themselves out there anymore. So many just deal with their jobs even thought they hate it bc they are too lazy to go out there and take a chance! My freind is going through that and he was supossed to take the same two tests and just didn't go..... Good for your FH and I wish him the best of luck!

My dad told me they are taking about 400! So hopefully your FH's will all get in!!!! They can make their own LIW FH club!!
