Sooo..let's talk CH

Since I'm picking my menu on Friday and I'm thinking of adding in a LES deli station and taking one station away (but which?)

WHen you're at a wedding are there any stations or specific foods that if they don't have them you actually MISS them?

Are there any stations you usually skip?

What stations have you seen/heard about that you think are cool.

For me, I'm always looking for eggplant and fried calimari. If they don't have that, I will def. be disappointed. I also really like the veg/cheese displays.

As a vegetarian, I never go near the carving station.

I think sushi and fajita stations are so cool!

I usually go straight for the baked clams/calimari, etc.

I always skip the carving station.

i always look for the seafood either station or passing trays- i always avoid the cheese, fruit, and carving stations..... we aren't having a pasta dish at our wedding so we are having a pasta station with two options

If they have a serious seafood spread - I AM THERE!! This includes sushi

Fresh mozz - tom - olives - and other types of cold salads, I'm all over that too

I don't ususally do fruit and the veggie platter stuff

Then i hit up the hot stuff

I don't ususally do the carving board, but if it catches my eye and im not full on the above I'll take it for a test ride LOL

I LOVE sushi stations! I also always heart the pasta station, but I'm italian so its a must for us. I also love mashed potato stations, but wouldn't be super upset if there wasn't one.

I usually skip the carving station as well. And the fajita station.

I would also skip the carving station. For me, pasta and veggie stations are a must!

And I love the sushi station--we're doing that too

So funny. I was planning to have the carving station be the one we nix in favor of the deli station (trying to get some jewish food in here), but my mom keeps insisting that EVERYONE looks for the carving station. I know I'm biased since I'm veg, but I feel like that's the most boring

i am all about the seafood...shrimp, calamari, clams, etc
I agree about the carving station however it seems all the men always gravitate towards it

the seafood station, pasta and like fried calamari/eggplant...
i don't usually eat red meat so i never go to the carving station, but i know that men are more so into it, so i wouldn't get rid of it
