FH's cousin's daughter was going to be our FG. Well, turns out....his cousin is preggos & her DUE date is our WEDDING day!! So I guess that's 3 NO's.
I really am SO happy for them but a part of me can't help but be a lil disappointed. I always pictured my wedding with a little FG. Oh wellll...gotta get off the selfish mobile. Can't to meet the new little one. It will give us somethin to look forward to coming home from the HM

Is it posisble for a family member to get your flower girl to and from the church, so she can still be part of the day?

Yeah, I think the family should be able to get someone to take care of the flower girl that day, the flower girl's grandma or someone. This happened to my parents on their wedding, their ring bearer's mother had a baby the day of the wedding and the grandma took care of everything so he could be in the wedding. It's do-able, just takes some contingency planning!!

If only it was that simple lol. We are geting married at the RH & they live in Connecticut so it would be pretty difficult...plus, they don't want her in another state while the new baby is being born. They want to be together as a family...which I can completely respect & understand.

my SIL is due on my wedding day too!!! isnt that funny how that happens......? i wasnt too happy about it at first but i kept it on the inside too just found out that that she's going to go like 2 weeks early! so they might be able to make it to the wedding after all lol

I have had a few disappointments also.. I guess it just comes with the package!!
each time i'm like, UGH YOU KNEW I WAS GETTING MARRIED!
but then I have to remember that other peoples lives don't revolve around my wedding...
